Still waiting on Spring over here and not too happy about what’s in the forecast for tomorrow and Wednesday. But so so thankful for the folks we got to spend the weekend with. Let’s get this cold rain and snow over and done with!!!
Congratulations to the McBriens! Stephanie + Zach are two of the kindest people I have ever encountered. It wasn't a shock to me that people came from all over the country (as far as ALASKA) to attend their wedding in Charleston! Enjoy your tropical honeymoon you two!!!⠀ #dearelizabethphoto
the sea, sun and sand played a vital role in bringing these two hearts together. thrilled this shot that captures them and the beach they love has been included in @wedaward 30th collection! #wedaward#floridakeys#weddingday
We can never have enough of nature, we must be refreshed by the sight of inexhaustible vigor, vast and titanic features, the sea-coast with its wrecks, the wilderness with its living and its decaying trees, the thunder-cloud, and the rain... -Henry David Thoreau
Hands up if your Instagram engagement is absolute crap at the moment? 🙌. Help me increase mine by leaving the cheesiest joke you know in the comments. Mine: what’s brown and sticky? A stick. Boom tish. This shot is from Clare and Ed’s Bristol wedding - it rained for their group shots so we parachuted Clare in at the last minute. #babbphoto
Megan and Nate. These two are some of the best around. They’re the kind of people who stay true in every setting, they aren’t phased by what’s normal or cool or expected. They are weird and funny and driven. They’re inspiring to be around because they’re so inspired by what’s around them. They’re the kind of friends that will walk slowly up a mountain with you to make sure you get to the top together (true story...), they truly care more about others than themselves. They love each other like crazy and support each other in everything. I am so thankful for their friendship and still in awe we got to play together all the way in Patagonia! The Kantor’s are on the blog today - head to the link in my bio for our little photo session in the most beautiful field on earth! And follow them right now if you aren’t already - @megan.kantor@cedarandpines 🖤
Sometimes you find an ice cave with the most beautiful light. And there, you witness a couple in awe of each other, of the insanely gorgeous landscape around them, and of everything they’re committing to. I need to share more black and white photos because they have a way of isolating a specific feeling, and letting everything else fade into the background. Last weekend’s elopement was inspiring to say the least.
"Having just arrived to the beautiful @deuxbelettes for the ceremony, Lara was sitting patiently in the the car waiting for the green light for go time, just moments before she walked down the aisle... when i looked through the car window she was having this beautiful raw moment of emotions... her mum's hand reaching over from the front of the car to comfort her and her dad's hand reaching in with a tissue to wipe away her tears... 😭" 💕
