A perfect time to reflect! We love how this Mercury Alloy Glaze looks on this large chevron tile by Encore Ceramics.

What a fab way to start MONDAY!! Thanks @sfshowcase .
Don't be fooled by the size of Krista Hoffman's "The Curio Closet,” it might be small, but it's definitely mighty!
It's been another brilliant year at Ted Todd and we would like to wish a very merry Christmas to all of our friends, clients and followers alike. Have a wonderful holiday and we look forward to seeing more of you all next year!

We're always working with smaller businesses to help them expand and grow. This was a set of restaurant dining tables that we recently finished in their new home at Sidra in #oakville. They always had great food, now they have great ambience too!
Don't forget Fido this Christmas! Whether you have a Dr. Seuss–style dog party — à la Go, Dog. Go! — or you just let your friends bring their pooches to your next brunch, this dog refreshment station is adorable. And don't forget the crystal bowls — nothing but the best for your furry friends! @cchangphoto#eventprofs

I had so much fun making wreaths this year. Foraging for the foliage and greenery in the snow (an absolute first!), choosing the ribbons, wrapping and twisting the long vines to build the frame...It was a weekend-long process, but i loved every second of it (even the clean-up part!). Anything that gives me the opportunity to retreat from the business of this time of the year, I seize. Anything that allows me to create with my hands - mind drifting and wandering all the while - infuses me with a quiet sense of joy. To me, the holiday season has a lot to do with the confort that comes with what’s familiar. But it’s also l about a urge to slow down. And slowing down to make a wreath, as prosaic is it might sound, is a cure against days that slip in between our fingers, unnoticed. Bringing the season into our homes after an uplifting walk in the chilly air; taking in the resinous scent of pine and fir as we weave; watching the short day fade away; turning on a candle to admire what we’ve created: it’s mundane. It’s slows time down a bit. And it’s just plain beautiful. .
I had as much fun crafting wreaths as I did putting together the short tutorial you so enthusiastically asked for. I’m no florist, mind. But I have a few tips to share with you on how to make your wreath from scratch, with only foraged, all-natural elements and very basic tools (also, with no special skills required). If you like, you can grab it for free via the link in profile. I hope you enjoy it and that you find it useful. And if you then decide to give wreath-making a go, do share & tag your creations with #VNWreathTutorial - I’d absolutely love to see them!
