Very interested to see yet another peninsula company copying idea of others instead of working on their own concepts even to the point of packaging. They say copying is a form of flattery, but come on. Perhaps I should bring back my decorating range 🤔
You Get What You Need: “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” by The Rolling Stones is often playing in my head. I think there's a lot of truth is that title, but I particularly like the subsequent line that holds a bit more insight about a life philosophy: “You get what you need.” Being comfortable with ageing is closely associated with a kind of wisdom that embraces our years as a necessary byproduct of growth. The Silver Disobedience™ mindset can be defined as one that acknowledges and accepts our past mistakes and all kinds of losses—physically, emotionally and external to us—while still believing we can improve and grow. We recognize the good and the bad within ourselves and outside of ourselves, yet still try to learn from it all. We know our bodies are changing—and maybe we’re more forgetful than we once were. Still, we’re adaptable, bringing lighthearted humor to our lives as we recognize what we can change and accept what we cannot. We’re not giving up nor settling for less: Instead, we are challenging ourselves in new ways, by redefining our goals without feeling the need to justify them to others. This is the freedom inherent in Silver Disobedience™ Would love to hear how YOU get your ya-yas out!

#ThoughtfulThursday: Reclaim the word “SHARE” on social media “Somewhere along the way, the word ‘sharing’ got co-opted on social media to describe what is really just ‘humble bragging,’” says Dr. Tchiki Davis.
We post about things we did, a cool place we went to, a pretty meal we ate, a fun party we went to. These are events that happened to us and we’re not actually “sharing.” No wonder some people may end up feeling inadequate from looking at people’s feeds.
Instead of focusing on yourself by posting things you did. Share something nice that someone did for you. Share a story that people can learn from. Share words of advice, kindness, support, and empathy to your social community. As a result, you will feel better, and so will the people reading your feed.
