Some progress from last weeks session with @matt.willing taking his rings up a notch. Multiple sets for 2 ring forward rolls, strict, no kip. Consistently getting these now.
He’s developing a solid foundation, and has gone from the days of half range pull-ups to full ring routines with FULL ROM, 5+ strict muscle ups on command, and more. He’s a strong boy, so moving weight is the second priority after learning how to move HIS weight. He’s getting a LOT more out of the latter.
We all want to be the ‘top dog’ in others eyes...😉🐕 But true validation has to come from ourselves first!
How we feel about ourselves directly relates to how we show up in the world and how others perceive us.
I’m talking about #selflove ❤️ Remember that simple actions such as waking up in the morning, feeding and hydrating your body, putting on warm clothes are all acts of love. You do these things because you do in fact already love yourself. 😘 And that’s a great place to start.

#tbt and the #transformation. Yes, this is real 😂. I've had a lot of different phases in life, as we all have. I've told you guys, I generally leave the past in the past and forget about it, but finding this one blew my mind. On the left, I was already 3 years into training every day believe it or not. I've bulked and cut the wrong ways. Bulked the right way to 260lbs and cut the right way to as low as 193lbs. I was always researching, learning, getting certifications, just trying to figure out where I was going wrong. Over time, with the right education and guidance, I finally got an accurate understanding. I wanted to share this with you because I know the struggle. I know how hard it can be. I know plenty of you who have been at it for years and can't understand why you're not where you want to be. I'm 9 years into this. It's all a process, and patience, with constant adjustment and execution is so incredibly vital. My entire life revolves around fitness, my relationships, and my businesses with those same keys applying to all of them.
