Cools Pitta, supports strong digestion, cools the body and provides a great source of probiotics to support the gut microbiota.
Super quick to make too: - Blend roughly 1 tablespoon of good quality plain yoghurt, 1 cup of water, pinch (1/4-1/2 tsp) of cumin powder, fresh mint and coriander leaves (about 1 tsp each) plus a few drops of Rose Water. Sprinkle a pinch of saffron and rose petals (optional) on top and enjoy fresh.
A great way to enjoy Yoghurt in the summer months.

The words we chose to speak hold an enormous amount of power and truth- speak wisely. We must be cognizant of the way we chose to mold our sentence when we bring life into existence by voicing our thoughts and beliefs. You are the creator of your personal life. If you wish to attain something, speak from the perspective of gratitude for already having attained it. Emotions such as love, care, thanks and gratitude generate high vibrational frequencies that get sent out into the universe and begin attracting outcomes. Begin by thinking and speaking with a "positive" conviction. There is a difference in saying, "I am no longer sick" vs "I am healthy." The more we express ourselves on the positive spectrum, the higher our vibrations become. The opposite is also true. When we declare we can't do certain things we are actively reinforcing insufficiency or lack. We are not lacking, but it is the mindset that needs to evolve if we wish to experience the wholeness and peace of existence. We actively create the universe around and within us. We recieve what we send out- because we spoke truth into being. The conviction in which we declare what we can or cannot achieve becomes the pretense for our future. Be aware of the words you utter as well as the thoughts you produce. We become what we believe. You have the ability to fashion a world centered in peace, kindness and love. It would be wise to reflect on what type of future you wish to be a part of. Here are a few examples that can be altered to cultivate positive change: I am overweight < I am getting healthier and more fit every day. I am getting sick < My body is actively restoring itself. This world is cruel < I am thankful people like _____ exist. Change begins with the individual. We are the artist and our aim is to reflect the beauty this world proudly provides. Be the change you wish to see. Be the energy you wish to attract. I am you. We are God. You are Loved. You ARE Love.
Wake before the sun (don't hate me just keep reading)! Rising BEFORE the sun will energize us all day long.⠀

Even when you love what you do, it's easy to get swept away in the overactive flow of productivity and burn out. ☀️
This year is all about being slow, steady, grounded and prioritizing self-care and.... perhaps sneaking in an Ayurveda training to help me with the self-care aspect and be a student again 😏

Tuesday tip: comida organico . Of course most of you know the merits organic produce, but Ayurveda has an interesting perspective on why to buy and eat local and organic foods. With a “farm to table” approach less hands touch your food, and each time food changes hands the potential for greed increases. So the less people that touch your food before you “take it in” (as we say in Ayurveda) the more engetically pure it’s said to be. Thus food free of chemicals and excess greed (and hopefully grown and produced by healthier humans with better access to rights & wages) is full of prana and supports samma Agni (harmonious digestion) . Stoked to find this sweet little mercado here in la punta. @playaviva also has an Oregon tilth certified organ farm, with epic fresh greens daily. I had a deep blockage on my forth chakra for years.
until I started to feel symtoms I didn’t realize that comes from my energetical body.
it was since I started to practice and all in me start to move, awakening my consciousness in that subtle part of me.
our heart is a central place in our body where resides joy, love, warmth and compassion.
at the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and what you want.
when anahata is blocked or closed you feel everyone is to be separated from you and you are likely to feel absolutely lonely, angry and probably your life gets full of sufferings and failures.
#anahata chakra is regarded as the center for unconditional love and compassion which governs the heart, circulatory system, respiratory system, hands, shoulders, diaphragm, ribs and the thymus gland.
this is the forth chakra located at the chest. air is the element of the heart chakra, and green is its color.
