When you open your door in Alaska to find this face staring back at you! 😱Living here is always an adventure!
"Whaddya got for veggies," asked the longest moose ever. 😁 Had a mama and THREE calves all on the back deck this morning. One of the calves looked like an adoptee, possibly from the cow that was found deceased in the woods just past our backyard this summer. Cow moose typically give birth to twins in the early summer. The calf was a bit smaller than the other two and didn't resemble its siblings at all. Poor lil booger looked a bit haggard, really. The position of one of the calves coupled with the proximity of Mama to the lens gives the appearance of a really long moose. I actually gave her a scratch on the nose as she was inquisitive and obviously felt no threat. However, the width of the door opening got no wider than what you see in this image. #alaska#thealaskalife#alaskan#moose#moose#wildlife#wildlifephotography#animals#adventure#explore
