40 Days of FeelGoodFixes Day 5 !
The return of the Itty Bitty Hill Run. I realised about a months ago I could NOT run up a particular hill in Richmond Park and decided that the fix for that was to do it everyday. I managed 4 measly days before succumbing to a nasty viral thing doing the rounds and stopped. Grrrr.
Today I started again hurrah!
This gets a Feel Good Fix mention for a couple of reasons. I am finally feeling better though my lungs are still not clear but this might really get things moving!
I am actually returning to something I have committed to doing and I have been more guilty than many I know of starting hard, tripping then giving up. I have done it more times than I can count in pretty much every context and I want that to change.
The sun was shining, I was in the park and it’s the first day of spring!
I’ll post the after and hill shots but spoiler alert I didn’t run up the shoe ways did it took me 1 min 57 hard secs !
‘I love you with my life - ’tis so I love you;
I give you as a ring
The cycle of my ays till death:
I worship with the breath
That keeps me in the world with you and spring:
And God may dwell behind, but not above you’. Today we stop to remember Katherine Bradley and Edith Cooper who, as lovers had to write their beautiful poetry under the pseudonym, Michael Field and once lived under the roof of the Bingham.
Any plans for tonight? Fancy trying some Belgian Beers and raising money for charity at the same time? Come down at 7.30 and you can do both of those things! We’ve got The Crossway Pregnancy Crisis Centre coming in and we’ll be tasting lots of different beers.
A lion bear🦁🐻resting in Richmond Park... Thank you once again for the get-well wishes.🙏 Over the weekend and Monday, I rested a lot. Felt well enough this morning that mama let me off leash for 5 mins to do a spurt of running. Though I then did lie down for at least another 5 mins after!🙊😂 Building back up my stamina slowly. Have a wonderful day everyone! 😘🐾🍀
