📚Monday was my last day of nursing school! 🎉
I still can’t believe that this day has finally come. It still feels like a dream. When my school shut down last year I thought I would have to start from scratch. I feel so blessed that PCC got approved to do a teach out for us and let us finish. I will forever be grateful ❤️
Thank you Mom and dad for this heartfelt picture.
Mini Vlog 3 // New Grads in the ICU? I’m all for it! In order for a new grad to be successful, the hospital, and the specific Unit, must have a willingness to invest in a long orientation period for that new RN. The transition from Student Nurse to ICU RN is definitely rough at first and the orientation needs to be thorough. You’re thrown into some pretty stressful situations straight off the bat. That said, things eventually calm down, and, with a good preceptorship, you become comfortable in the critical care setting. I came into the ICU as a new grad. There were days when I thought I was ready to quit, but I hung in there, had great support from fellow nurses, and ended up becoming confident in my skills and knowledge. Eventually, the situations that make you extremely stressed out as a newbie, become much less stressing. My unit has developed many new grads into successful ICU nurses! 😁 If critical care excites you, and you’re ready to learn how to care for the sickest of patients (because there’s sooo much left to learn after nursing school. Trust me, no one expects you to know everything.), then I say apply! .
Are any of you interested in critical care? Anyone already working in an ICU?
Like some of you may already know, I am going to Fiji with Open Heart International team in June!
I will be working as a Registered Nurse, helping local hospitals and disadvantaged communities to do life-saving heart surgeries to the children who need them gravely.
By supporting me, you would be covering the funds for much needed equipment and resources needed to make huge difference to these childrens' lives.
I promise I won't use it to buy cocktails there!
I'm so excited to be a part of these life-changing project and I would really, really appreciate any donation that can be made by going to this web: (link will be posted on profile too 🔝🔝🔝) Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️

Does it matter whether or not their birth parent plays a role? Does it matter the age? Just wondering 🧐🧐... all are welcome, comment below...
Heyy my loves!! ❤️ Sorry for being MIA, i cannot wait to finish my degree, its keeping me super busy! 😆
PS, I am finding it so hard to stay motivated, constantly contemplating whether to take the risks/ the chances that come my way to achive my goals or to avoid my inner voice!?!? I guess its all fear of failure and disappointments. Whether we accept or denny it, it does creep into our head at times. #practicing#fearlessness#toughdesicions 🙏😊
Ending our leg workout with a little burn. Looks funny but it 🔥🔥🔥
I seriously can’t get enough of this functional section at this new gym🖤 if you have any burner exercises that you love, please share!

@aalexisnicole - This picture was taken my first day off orientation. Look at me... so young and full of life 😂 now a month and half later on my own and I feel like I’ve aged 5 years mentally. •
One thing about Nursing is in this profession you will grow FAST. It’s the only way to survive. You learn a lot about your attitude, your personality, your patience, and how to deal with difficult people. I’m so thankful for this growth! I’m getting better everyday! #powerhousenurses#nurses#rn#bsn#masters#futurenp#msn#ucf#nursevibe#thenursenook
