The perfect casual Sunday. Woke up late, had Chinese leftovers for breakfast, got sized for a bridesmaid dress and bought a new camera lens and tripod 🙌🏻 Oh, and I had pizza for lunch. So I’d consider life to be pretty, pretty good.
These extra weeks of winter have thrown me off. We had a few beautiful days, then woke mornings in the 40’s with ice on the cars. With Alice Janes spring break this week, I was getting scared that it would be too cold for outdoor activities. Then Friday, Alice Janes first day off from school, turns out to be the Perfect day. Saturday another perfect day spent outside at a birthday party. I’m going to pray that the weather stays this amazing. I just thought this hat and flower was a beautiful representation of spring.

I’m really sick with a bacterial infection & can hardly pick up and snuggle my own baby without terrible pain from inflammation & soreness throughout my body. Sooo many hard things come with being a mommy, but this one makes it all worth it.
A view (& the hike to get here) that takes your breath away ⛰
