Stevenage, UK 🇬🇧 .
I’m starting to wander whether spring is coming at all!! 😅 C’mon weather, get it together! If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I’m talking about the fourth time we have gotten snow in the UK this year... and it’s practically April! This picture is actually from the last time it snowed a couple of weeks ago. .
Thankfully this weekend I was home in the Canary Islands recharging my batteries and getting my vitamin D levels back up ☀️ Had a wonderful weekend surrounded by family and cute animals 🐪(still in my stories, so go check them out before they are gone!). Now at the airport waiting for my flight back to the UK, and counting the days until my next break in two weeks: Weekend in Oxford 🙌🏻 can’t wait! Hope you all have a great start to the week 😘

Memories from Scotland 🏰🏴 If fairytales were real, all castles would look like Craigievar. Did you know that this beautiful pink castle said to be the inspiration for Walt Disney’s Cinderella Castle? ✨ #visitscotland@visitscotland
‘If the sun don't shine on me today, and if the subways flood and bridges break, will you lay yourself down and dig your grave or will you rail against your dying day?’
I only just discovered the music video for ‘Sleep on the Floor’ by the Lumineers and I think I probably watched it about 50 times yesterday, it’s amazing ✨
New job means even less photos, but hopefully less is more?
A relatively recent trip to Kimmeridge ledges. Having been out at sunrise in Dorset 5 or 6 times I'm begining to think they either never have any clouds or way too many.. can't complain about the morning glow though.

Perfect late afternoon with @happy_letty, before watching the sky transition from rainbow sunset, to clear twinkling stars, to an amazing display of emerald northern lights! 💚
Something VURRY exciting is happening this week, my dears - 🐝 #workerbeeweekender round 2!!
Whizz back to last July, and you’ll have found me gearing up (is that a really Dad thing to say? Have I added about 3 decades to my age?) for a WORLD FIRST (yup - pioneering Manchester and all that jazzy-jazz-hands jazz) - @visitmanchester's #workerbeeweekender, an event in Manchester dedicated to showcasing the city to an invited group of international content creators.
Twas a right rollicking, jolly ol’ fun time - I hosted a my-bones-were-a-quaking insta-walk before immersing myself in a weekend raspberry-jam-packed-full (the BEST kind) with city good-ness, from visits to @thepankhurst, @elizabeth_gaskells_house, and @victoriabaths, to cocktail making, dinner at ‘grammer-fave @evelynscafebar (1st time spent rubbing love-her shoulders with my friend, @porthjess!), sherry-trying at @flokmcr, out-of-hours tours-ing @mcrartgallery, and MUCH more.
So successful was the weekender, my stick-around (thank you, I know I waffle) friends, that this week another is launching (*SQUEALS*) this time as part of a twin-city venture with the capital, that we’re a’calling #MCRxLDN!
I’ll be hosting two more walks in the city, as well as duty-ing as a member of the Manchester team, covering super-exciting events and activities that I’m right proper ready to get stuck into, before rounding out the week with a visit to some can’t-wait-to-see @VisitLondon gems!
And so, if you don’t hear from me this week, never fear!
Tori is STILL here, just a little snowed under with last minute detail-ing! Until then, here’s a photo album of some of last year’s highlights - I’m doing a little shoulder dance over it all as I type!
Follow #workerbeeweekender and #MCRxLDN to see what we get up to - I’m toe-tapping ready for it all to unfold!
Happy Monday-ing 👋 you bloody lovely bean!
1) @evelynscafebar, moved-the-food-to-another-table-to-photograph-it real-ness
2) @thepankhurst's Pankhurst Parlour
3-5) Various areas of @victoriabaths
7) Letter from Dickens to Gaskell
8) Blancmange-y @rxtheatre!
9) Breakfast with @fraeuleinsonntag
10) Castlefield sun
Morning 👋🏻 So if you hadn’t guessed already, both Bristol & the power of community mean rather a lot me. 🌍♥️
On Saturday we (@igersbristol) held a wonderful (if I do say so myself) Instameet to kick off English Tourism Week, attended by friends old & new 😊. And this weekend sees another big event involving influencers from across Europe I’ve previously met on my travels (plus some bloggers I haven’t) coming to the city to attend two days of events I’ve been planning with Destination Bristol. Can’t wait! 🙌🏻
Will bring you more news on that in a couple of days. But for now... all the tea. ☕️
Have a great Monday!
I've had another huge weekend of celebrations, this time with Mr S turning 35 and my Auntie turning 75! Brewery tours and afternoon tea were just some of the shenanigans on offer, but I'll tell you about that another time...
Because it is only bloomin' podcast day! Another episode of #TheTravelust has landed, and this week I'm interviewing the wonderful @weekendcandy who is sharing all her amazing weekend break expertise!
We also chat about gin due to our shared passion for the good stuff, so in honour of this episode I thought I'd share a snap from The Resting Room, one of the restaurant/bars at gin haven @distilleryldn. Head to iTunes, Spotify or the link in my profile to listen!
So I was planning on sharing some favourite pics from yesterday’s brilliant Instameet to our Stories tonight but frankly I’m absolutely knackered... so I’ll do it tomorrow instead! 😊
As tempting as it was to be predictable and repost one of the many incredible snowy Suspension Bridge shots we were tagged in today (thank you to all! Loved looking through them), I’ve got happy memories of living in St. George during heavy snowfall. So we’re off to BS5 instead with this Narnia-like beauty from @mick_the_click.
Thanks for tagging us Michael!
Well done to everyone who bagged themselves a place on next Sunday’s meet! Should be another great one. 👌🏻
See you tomorrow 👋🏻
I’ve just been looking through all of the stunning snowy shots posted today which has made tonight’s post very difficult to decide on. I’ve decided to go with this amazing shot by @psfitz of the Royal Crescent. I love how peaceful this picture is.
Keep sharing all of your amazing shots to #igersbath to be featured!
Have a good night everyone.

It's no secret Scotland holds a special spot in my heart since first visiting in 2016. I finally made it back up last week and spent the most amazing few days nestled in a log cabin, with no service, perched along a loch. It was nice to reconnect with my partner, nature and myself. Forgetting the scrolling, the keeping up on business and anything else that occupies our minds and time too much. This place is magical for many reasons and I can't wait until my next adventure in the mountains there :) here's a moment in those said mountains 😉
Breakfast in Soho is always a good idea ☕️🥐 Haven’t been to this area in a while and forgot how fun this place is! What’s your favourite area in London? 🤔

Has anyone seen weather forecast for London this weekend?! 🤦🏻♀️ #nomoresnow please 🙅🏻♀️☃️❄️😅

It’s Pi Day, Einstein’s birthday and sadly, Stephen Hawking death.
I used to visit Gonville and Cauis often not only for the architecture but also in hopes that I’d bump into one of the greatest minds on the planet. I never did get the chance and now, I never will. May he rest in peace ❤️
Relaxing with a glass of wine after taking a group of 3rd grade kids on a field trip to the Frankfurt Natural History Museum. The kids were pretty good but gosh, I am now knackered! How a teacher can do this everyday is beyond me! Hats off to all you teachers!
Hope your week is going well 😘

💭 Dear all, I’m after your travel advice tonight: where’s good to go just for a weekend in May in Europe? A couple of friends and I can’t decide whether to take a car and see more of the UK or book a flight.
Which are your favourite places to travel to in late spring?❤️

Thinking of London in bloom!
I cannot wait for spring to be here!! I miss the warmer weather, longer daytime hours, and especially the blossoms.
We are car shopping at the moment. A little something for the girls and me, something to wander with. Nothing fancy but it needs to be reliable. We called a couple folks but they didn’t speak any English. So we had to recruit our new German speaking friends to help us.
The challenge of moving to another country 😊
Are you looking forward to spring too?

Let’s hope these are last icy cold days in London... This winter lasts too long ❄️☃️Happy Sunday and keep warm 🙌🏻😄
Yellow or blue door? I love both! 💛💙
Going to start German course at the Volkshochschule (adult learning centre I think) after Easter. It’s Monday to Friday 8:30-12:30. I am not sure how my wee old brain will cope with this 😳
I am looking forward to learning but scared at the same time. What if I never really get it? My mom learned English when she was 30-something and never got it right. I am way older and I don’t want to be like her 😜😂
I will be glad though when I don’t have to shop with my mobile, handy they call it here, and Google translate. My usually thirty minute shopping has been taking me a almost two hours 🙈
Sure miss England right now!! Will post more Germany after I get a car and can roam about freely. Have a great weekend, all!
