breakfast and coffee at sunrise + drive 30mi to an unnamed/unsigned dirt road I read about in a book + drive miles down a very rough “road” (thankfully I rented an suv 😬 sorry hertz) + hike 4 miles across the open desert (no trail) toward what looks like some sandy mountains? + climb those giants = EPIC DAY

the view from my balcony on a cold winter morning.
All eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a circus 🎪

#shotoniphone snag of the coolest place I’ve ever stayed at. Etched into the mountains of the cloud-forest.

The vegan ice cream truck, owned and operated (and all ice cream lovingly crafted) by an older gentleman, was here everyday. Every day except tomorrow, because he told us he’d be off catching surf. We learned his not-so-secret simple recipe and chatted about life in Tulum. Stop and talk when you’re traveling guys, that’s my best advice. And you’ll find some even better advice if you do, I bet.
I miss those days. Let‘s get lost again!
We must do, we must go... ❤️🌲⛰

I have been to Moab twice before while possessing a National Parks Pass but never visited @archesnps for some reason... We stopped by during the day to check it out and I was blown away. Thinking about the layers of rock eroding away to form these wonders is difficult to understand within our small scales of time. Wind and water pushing and pulling these works of art out of the rock by blowing tiny pieces of sand away over millions of years.. I can’t wait to visit this place during sunset!! #archesnationalpark#moab#roadtrip
Punxsutawney Phil was right after all: the last week, over a foot of snow has fallen here in SLC. So much for my hopes of an early summer!
Cold stints always make me pine for the high country. I took this photo last summer atop the Markagunt Plateau. Wildfire had burned the area a season prior which gave the forest a haunted appearance.

What a strange world. We trade days for things ⚜️ atticus.
If you ask my friends who know me best, they will make a joke and roll their eyes about how much I enjoy to de-clutter. I was the opposite as a kid, I would keep every inch of ribbon or piece of cardboard I could get my hands on just in case I could possibly use it for some craft or another. Now, I’m bare bones in my apartment. The things I have I try to take care of, to make them last.
What I’m struggling with is not the collection of things, but a lack of time. My friend said this week on the phone; “We’re in our twenties, this is when we’re supposed to travel, be free, enjoy life!” I realized it’s a blessed problem, but I think we would all ask for a little more time. How do I work full time and further my career, start and dedicate time to a masters program, maintain relationships, adventure often, and maybe sleep and achieve basic hygiene every once in a while? I have grand plans for travel, and a limited budget of vacation days. My list of adventures is growing, and yet I’m lacking time.
Question for you; How do you manage your time to create space for all the things you want and need to do?
