You know, there are two types of people - ones who live their lives, and ones whose lives live them. You need to be the former, not the latter. And right now, you are letting your life live you. It's crushing you and completely out of control. You can't just let life happen, not if you want some say in what happens to you. // H.M. Ward

"The way to do a great deal is to keep on doing a little. The way to do nothing at all is to be continually resolving that you will do everything." - Charles Spurgeon
Just some practical advice from Charles Spurgeon. -
I know I sometimes get overwhelmed with the tasks at hand, and try to focus on everything at once, but yet accomplish very little. When if I focused on a single task instead, accomplished it, and then moved on to the next I would accomplish a great deal more.

Spent two nights here at the base of the mountain beside the lake, truly living every second of it. We didn’t do anything epic, but that’s completely okay with me. It’s good to just be still sometimes.
"I've always been an active outdoorsy person, but after I became a Mom, I guess I felt in a way, like my life was over. I felt like you had to travel the world, and hike mountains, BEFORE you had kids. .
I realized that it didn't matter if I had kids or not. I could still be me, and do all the things I love. I could enjoy nature, hike through the mountains, and even go camping!
Yes, there would be children, and we'd have to go at a slower pace, but it has been SO good for them to get outdoors and experience nature. Every morning they ask, "Are we going on a hike today Mom?" And if I say "Not today," sometimes they angrily ask "Whyyyyy!?" .
At least their distraught reaction let's me know I'm doing something right." -anjfray
